Job Description Summary

This role is part of the IT Finance Systems team and will support design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Costing and Intercompany capabilities for GE HealthCare's migration from Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to Oracle Fusion Cloud. We are looking for an experienced Oracle practitioner with strong functional process knowledge, hands-on configuration skills and multiple implementations behind them, who wants to deepen their business process expertise and grow into a senior solution role.

Job Description

In this role, you will

Support end-to-end business process design and application delivery for Oracle Fusion Cost Management and Intercompany, working across Inventory, Manufacturing, Procurement, Order Management, Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, and Subledger Accounting.

Own configuration and setup for defined areas of Oracle Fusion Cost Management and Intercompany, including setup documentation, prototyping, and validation, and clearly explain how configuration choices affect process execution, accounting, controls, integrations, and reporting.

Work with Finance and business stakeholders to document current-state and future-state processes for standard costing, cost elements, overheads, inventory valuation, COGS, cost accounting distributions, and period-end costing activities.

Support design and validation of intercompany trade and non-trade processes, including internal material transfers, intercompany sales and purchases, transfer pricing, markups, profit in inventory, settlement, and reconciliation.

Participate in requirements workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution confirmation, process walkthroughs, and design documentation, escalating key decisions and risks to the senior solution lead.

Prepare functional specifications, user stories, process flows, data mappings, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions.

Collaborate with technical teams to clarify functional flows, accounting logic, mappings, validation rules, reconciliation requirements, and error-handling expectations for RICE components.

Execute and coordinate CRP, SIT, UAT, regression, conversion, and cutover testing; document defects, validate fixes, and confirm traceability to business requirements.

Support R12-to-Fusion data migration and reconciliation, including master data, standard costs, inventory balances, open transactions, intercompany balances, and relevant accounting outputs.

Contribute to user training, deployment readiness, hypercare, operational documentation, and continuous improvement of the global solution.

Work alongside senior architects to build depth in cost accounting and intercompany processes and take on increasing design ownership over time.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of Finance or Supply Chain systems experience with hands-on Oracle ERP (R12 and/or Fusion) implementation experience.

Participation in at least two full-cycle Oracle ERP implementations, with hands-on ownership of application configuration.

Strong hands-on configuration skills in Oracle Fusion Cost Management (for example cost organizations, cost books, cost elements, cost accounting rules, standard cost setup, and cost accounting distributions) or the equivalent in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.

Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Intercompany and the integration of intercompany transactions with AR, AP, Inventory, Costing, and GL.

Ability to perform application configuration and assess the downstream process and accounting impact of setup changes.

Experience preparing functional documentation and partnering with technical teams on reports, interfaces, conversions, integrations, or extensions.

Hands-on experience in testing, defect resolution, data validation, reconciliation, and deployment support.

Preferred / Added Advantage

Understanding of cost accounting and intercompany processes beyond system setup, such as standard costing, overheads, inventory valuation, COGS, transfer pricing, and period-end processes.

Exposure to an R12-to-Oracle Fusion migration or cloud ERP transformation.

Experience in a global manufacturing, healthcare, or other complex product-based organization.

Knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, web services, and light SQL for validation and troubleshooting.

Exposure to Oracle EPM, tax engines, reconciliation tools, or middleware platforms.

Oracle Cloud certification or a professional accounting or finance certification.

Desired Characteristics

Eagerness to deepen business process expertise and grow into a senior solution role.

Strong business acumen and the ability to translate finance requirements into scalable application solutions.

Structured problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to assess downstream process and system impacts.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across Finance, Business, Product, Architecture, Development, and external implementation partners.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset with a focus on standardization, controls, adoption, and sustainable support.
