McKesson est à la recherche d’un(e) stagiaire en automatisation de l’assurance qualité (AQ) motivé(e) et soucieux(se) du détail pour se joindre à son équipe technologique durant la session d’hiver 2027.

Dans le cadre de ce stage, vous contribuerez au développement, à l’exécution et à l’amélioration des tests automatisés qui assurent la qualité, la fiabilité et la performance des applications logicielles soutenant les activités de McKesson dans le secteur de la santé.

Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec des spécialistes en assurance qualité, des développeurs et des propriétaires de produits afin d’acquérir une expérience concrète en automatisation des tests, en génie de la qualité et en développement logiciel dans un environnement professionnel stimulant.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Participer à la conception, au développement et à la maintenance de scripts de tests automatisés à l’aide d’outils et de cadres de travail reconnus par l’industrie.
  • Exécuter des suites de tests automatisés et de régression afin de valider les fonctionnalités et la performance des applications.
  • Analyser les résultats des tests, identifier les anomalies et collaborer avec les équipes de développement pour résoudre les problèmes.
  • Travailler avec les spécialistes AQ, développeurs et propriétaires de produits afin de comprendre les exigences d’affaires et techniques et les transformer en cas de test efficaces.
  • Documenter les plans de test, les cas de test, les résultats d’exécution et les anomalies détectées.
  • Participer aux activités de dépannage et de débogage des applications logicielles.
  • Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des processus, outils et cadres d’automatisation des tests.
  • Apprendre et appliquer les meilleures pratiques liées à l’assurance qualité et aux méthodologies de tests logiciels.

Exigences de base

  • Être actuellement inscrit(e) à un programme de baccalauréat ou de maîtrise en informatique, génie logiciel, génie informatique ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Posséder une expérience acquise dans le cadre de cours, de projets académiques ou de stages avec au moins un langage de programmation tel que Python, Java, JavaScript, C# ou PHP.
  • Démontrer une compréhension du cycle de vie du développement logiciel (SDLC) et des concepts fondamentaux liés aux tests logiciels.
  • Posséder de solides aptitudes en analyse, en résolution de problèmes et en pensée critique.
  • Avoir d’excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite.
  • Être capable de travailler de façon autonome tout en collaborant efficacement au sein d’une équipe.

Expérience et compétences souhaitées

  • Connaissance ou exposition à des outils d’automatisation des tests tels que Selenium, Cypress, Playwright ou des technologies similaires.
  • Familiarité avec les méthodologies de développement Agile.
  • Expérience avec des outils de gestion de versions comme Git.
  • Compréhension de base des concepts et outils de tests d’API.
  • Expérience en développement logiciel dans le cadre de projets académiques, personnels ou professionnels.
  • Connaissance des pratiques d’intégration et de déploiement continus (CI/CD).
  • Intérêt marqué pour une carrière en assurance qualité logicielle, en génie de la qualité ou en automatisation des tests.

Le.la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l’extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral. Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer Intern

Winter 2027 Internship

About the Role

McKesson is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer Intern to join our technology team for Winter 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting the development, execution, and maintenance of automated testing solutions that help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications used across the healthcare industry.

Working alongside experienced QA Engineers, Software Developers, and Product Owners, you'll gain exposure to real-world software development practices while building valuable skills in test automation, quality engineering, and software delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated and regression test suites to validate application functionality and performance.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Partner with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Owners to understand business and technical requirements and create effective test cases.
  • Document test plans, test cases, test execution results, and defect reports.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and debugging software issues across various stages of development.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
  • Learn and apply QA best practices, software testing methodologies, and quality standards.

Basic Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience through coursework, projects, or internships with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or PHP.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and software testing fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing tasks independently.

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Git.
  • Basic understanding of API testing concepts and tools.
  • Experience developing software applications through academic, personal, or internship projects.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
