About the Job:

Responsible for the decontamination, preparation and sterilization of supplies, instruments, and equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• •Follows duty roster to fulfill workstation assignment.
• •Decontaminates, prepares, and sterilizes equipment and supplies per Elliot Hospital and infection control rules.
• •Runs steam, sterrad sterilizer, washer decontaminators, cart washer, ultrasonics, and dryer.
• •Reports broken equipment and supplies to shift leader and manager immediately for follow-up.
• •Labels and assembles healthcare instrument trays.
• •Maintains steam, sterrad, and biological monitoring records.
• •Answers phone calls.
• •Creates linen packs, inspects, delints, and folds as needed.

Who You Are:

• •High school diploma or equivalent required.
• •One (1) to three (3) years of experience preferred.
