Position Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the Stewarding department.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities : includes but not limited to:

• •Ensures an adequate supply of clean china, glass and silver is available to all outlets
• •Guarantees the proper allocation of goods to the proper outlet

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Assists in training and scheduling of the Stewarding department staff
• •Aids in maintaining inventories

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Two years of experience as a Steward, in a high volume operation

Competencies : Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

• •Good written and verbal communication skills
• •Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• •Proper cleaning and storage techniques
• •Understanding of cleaning methods
• •Knowledge of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment

Training Requirements:

• •Must complete all appropriate Human Resources Supervisor Training classes
• •Understanding of health and sanitation guidelines
• •Knowledge of Ascent, EmpowerTime and Manager Self Service systems

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• •Fast paced kitchen environment
• •Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• •Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
