STOCK CLERK – Grocery

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• •Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies.
• •Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates.
• •Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines.
• •Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment, (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.)
• •Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age.
• •Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• •Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions.

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• •Maintains a clean and neat work area.
• •Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart
• •Ability to operate cashier equipment/systems
• •Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car.
• •Properly bags or packages customers purchases using correct size and quantity of bags.
• •Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy.
• •Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision.
• •Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• •Other duties as assigned.

• •Works well with others.
• •Speaks English fluently.
• •Eyesight corrected to 20/20.
• •Hearing corrected to normal range.
• •Possess full range of motion on shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet.
