Storage Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure across production, DR, and non-production environments.

Perform storage provisioning, capacity management, performance tuning, replication management, and lifecycle planning.

Lead storage hardware and software upgrades, firmware updates, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.

Manage SAN environments, storage networking, zoning, multipathing, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Support business-critical insurance applications requiring high availability and stringent recovery objectives.

Design and implement storage replication, backup integration, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

Monitor storage utilization, performance metrics, trends, and proactively address capacity or performance risks.

Collaborate with infrastructure, database, virtualization, cloud, and security teams during projects and operational activities.

Support regulatory and audit requirements related to data retention, protection, security, and operational resilience.

Develop and maintain storage architecture documentation, SOPs, operational runbooks, and technical standards.

Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and service improvement initiatives.

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior infrastructure engineers.
