Das Unternehmen wurde 1993 durch Kurt Schmelzer als Ein-Mann-Betrieb mit einem JCB Baggerlader 3CX gegründet.

Seit 2011 ist Sohn Philipp Schmelzer mit im Unternehmen tätig. Zuvor schloss er seine Straßenbauer Ausbildung bei der Seelbach Bauunternehmung als Jahrgangsbester NRW ab. Im Anschluss daran absolvierte er 2010 seine Meisterprüfung bei der Handwerkskammer Dortmund.

Im Januar 2016 wurde die Firma Kurt Schmelzer Meisterbetrieb in eine GmbH umfirmiert.

Aktuell beschäftigt das Unternehmen 12 Mitarbeiter mit unterschiedlichen Qualifikationen des Straßen-, Tief-, Garten- und Landschaftsbaus, denen ein leistungsstarker Fuhrpark zur Verfügung steht.

Zur Verstärkung suchen wir engagierte/motivierte/mitarbeitende Hände im Kabelbau. Eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im Tiefbau oder Garten,-Landschaftsbau ist wünschenswert.

Derzeit haben wir einen langfristigen Auftrag in Köln. Daher auch gerne Bewerber aus dieser Umgebung.
