You will play an important role in ensuring the right materials and services are available at the right quality, cost and time.

This position combines strategic procurement with hands-on supplier management, commercial negotiations and close collaboration with stakeholders across the business.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to category strategies, identify new opportunities, drive cost-down initiatives and support the successful implementation of new suppliers, materials and services. This is across the Marketing, HR and Travel categories

Meet your new team

You will be part of a professional procurement organisation working closely with colleagues across the business and with suppliers around the world.

The team works across both direct and indirect procurement and collaborates closely with functions including Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Finance, Technical Management and local and regional business stakeholders.

The procurement organisation is focused on creating value through strong supplier partnerships, effective category management, standardisation and continuous improvement. Collaboration and a clear understanding of business requirements are central to the way the team works.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a broad internal and external network and become a trusted procurement partner to the business.

You will be based in Hørsholm, Denmark or alternatively in Warsaw, Hamburg or Budapest and some travel can be expected.

What you will do

Your primary responsibility will be to manage sourcing and procurement activities within the assigned area, while contributing to the development and execution of category strategies.

Other key responsibilities:

• •Drive sourcing and category initiatives in line with business requirements, including RFx processes, supplier selection and category strategy execution.
• •Identify and deliver cost-down and value-creation opportunities, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• •Manage supplier relationships and commercial agreements, ensuring strong performance, competitive terms and reliable supply.
• •Lead the implementation of new suppliers, materials and services, ensuring successful and timely delivery of changes and launches.
• •Develop and maintain an effective supplier portfolio, supporting global and regional standardisation, process optimisation and business needs.
• •Build strong stakeholder relationships across functions, ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication and alignment between procurement and the wider business.

The role will involve close collaboration with both direct and indirect procurement stakeholders.

Relevant experience and capabilities include:

• •Supplier management, sourcing and negotiations, including RFx processes and commercial agreements.
• •Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to identify sourcing opportunities, develop procurement solutions and deliver cost reductions and other measurable improvements.
• •The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective sourcing and procurement activities.
• •Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across functions and organisational levels and build effective supplier relationships.
• •A structured and proactive approach to managing initiatives, priorities and projects from development through to implementation.
• •A successful Strategic Buyer combines strategic thinking with strong execution.

The position requires someone who can understand the wider business context while maintaining focus on commercial results, supplier performance and operational delivery.
