About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer – Site Supervisor to support the construction supervision of a major highway and road infrastructure project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising structural works during construction, ensuring that all activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with expertise in large concrete structures or equivalent.
• •Experience minimum of 15 years of cumulative experience in Civil Engineering and thereof a minimum of 6 (six) years related to structural elements such as bridges, retaining walls, overpasses, and underpasses construction
• •Served in a similar capacity on at least 2 projects with concrete or steel structures of similar nature.
• •Preferably a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 2 years. In addition, have relevant international experience and working experience of at least 1 (one) year in developing countries.
• •Fluent in writing and speaking English is mandatory.
• •Responsible for supervising the construction of structural elements such as bridges, retaining walls, overpasses, and underpasses and all similar structures, in compliance with the DB Contract, the technical specifications and the approved detailed design
• •Male or Female
