the posting
SEB Kort’s Legal function offers talented students an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in payment and financing solutions through a six-month internship.
The internship in short
The internship runs for six months, with a commitment of six to eight hours per week. It gives students a genuine insight into the work of the SEB Kort Legal team while allowing them to continue their studies. Over the course of the internship, you will also have the opportunity to follow your work through and see the results of your contribution.
As an intern, you will join a specific role and take part in day-to-day business activities, giving you a valuable opportunity to explore the banking environment. At least one tutor will support and guide you throughout the internship.
What you will do
SEB Kort Group provides payment and financing solutions, together with related services, to consumers and corporate customers across the Nordics and Europe. Working as a lawyer within SEB Kort means collaborating closely with the business to provide legal advice, prepare documentation for customer products and services, and support governance and business development matters in an international environment.
This internship is ideal for students who want to understand how legal work is carried out within a financial institution. You will gain practical experience with the SEB Kort Legal team, with a particular focus on matters before the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), including disputes between consumers and the SEB Kort Group.
Who are you?
- To succeed in the internship, you should have a genuine interest in financial markets, banking and finance law, and corporate law.
- You are a service-minded team player with a constructive, solution-oriented approach and a strong sense of integrity.
- Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor or master's degree in Law or equivalent
- You must have completed at least four semesters of your law degree before the internship begins
- You also have excellent spoken and written Swedish and English
