Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Subcon Lead Buyer, Section Manager.

Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state.

What you will be doing:

• •Manage subcontractors commercially (RFQs, prices, consignment, etc.).
• •Contribute on the assessment of performance of subcontractors.
• •Source applicable subcontractors which will fit in OPTO portfolio.
• •Ensuring subcontractor prices are competitive in the market.
• •Market research / analysis
• •Cost analysis

• •Collaborating with subcontractors on cost savings initiatives.
• •Establish, maintain, and update contractual agreements (NDA, MPA, CSR, BCP). (Coordination with Legal)

What you will bring along:

• •Degree on Engineering or Business course.
• •Good communication skills in English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
• •Good in sourcing and negotiations.
• •Knowledgeable in semiconduction materials and semiconductor sub contractor market (OSAT), preferably with at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor industry.
• •Knowledgeable in SAP.
