Subproject Manager (f/m/d)

#### Your Tasks

• •Subproject management of work packages in the areas of sensor development, sensor breadboard, and technology development
• •Subproject management for an optical instrument in Phase B1/B2/C
• •Planning, management, and execution of all aspects related to these work packages
• •Acquisition of external funding to support the co-financing of the activity
• •Overall coordination between development, procurement, product assurance, and AIT for the optical instrument
• •Preparation, maintenance, and communication of the necessary schedules to track progress, as well as proactive management to ensure an efficient development cycle
• •Internal and external stakeholder management
• •Technical guidance for team members
• •Preparation of necessary trade-offs and associated actions
• •Regular reporting to project management on the status and progress of the development and technology activities

#### Your Qualifications

• •Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification
• •Proven track record in connection with a space product
• •Deep knowledge of space instrument programmes
• •Experience in building industrial consortia
• •Sound understanding of the specific constraints and challenges of Earth observation missions
• •Very good understanding of the relationship between schedule, budget, and quality in space projects, with the ability to balance these dimensions and set priorities
• •Experience in the technical leadership of project teams, particularly in development
• •Strong customer orientation, results orientation, and cost awareness
• •Confident and convincing manner, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial mindset
• •Highly proactive, structured, and self-organized way of working
• •Team player with a high level of cooperation and strong conflict-resolution skills
• •Very good communication skills
• •Strong organizational skills
• •Willingness to travel regularly
