Classroom Management and Instruction

• •Integrates the Christian worldview in all areas of instruction

• •Uses the materials left by the classroom teacher as the instruction outline for the day
• •Adapts lessons and units to exploit teachable moments and correct misunderstandings
• •Utilizes instructional time well
• •Maintains student safety and safety protocols

Requirements

Education, Certifications, and Experience:

• •Bachelor’s Degree
• •Teaching experience highly valued

Technical Competencies and Skills

• •Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
• •Works effectively as part of a team
• •Demonstrates strong work ethic
• •Displays effective multi-tasking and time management skills

Requirements

Physical

Requires standing and walking intermittently throughout a significant portion of the day (up to 2/3 of the day)

Physical ability to navigate students to safety in the event of an emergency

General
