Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 7.30am to 4pm

What you'll be doing:

• •Manage daily site operations, including risk assessments, safety briefings and compliance with RAMS.
• •Check plant, equipment and fuel use; report defects and maintain stock levels.
• •Promote a positive health and safety culture and report concerns appropriately.
• •Coordinate waste collections, segregation, storage, inspections and documentation.
• •Deliver toolbox talks, maintain training records and support audit and reporting requirements.
• •Act as the main site contact for waste queries, supporting stakeholders, service improvements and the Contract Manager.

What we're looking for:

• •IT literate, with the ability to use Google software confidently.
• •Experience of waste management and relevant legislation.
• •IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
• •Knowledge of permits to work, risk assessments and method statements.
• •Strong communication skills and a commitment to ongoing learning.
• •FLT licence: B1 counterbalance, up to 5 tonnes.
• •Valid van driver competency.
