  • Provide leadership and direction to four direct reports responsible for day-to-day accounting and reporting activities, supporting team performance, development, and delivery of accurate and timely financial information.
  • Partner with field operations, regulatory, commercial, finance, supply chain, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights that support operational priorities, projects, and informed decision-making.
  • Support regulatory reporting and filings by preparing O&M, headcount, Shared Services, and other financial schedules for surveillance reporting, settlement and rate applications, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and established financial controls.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and hold a CPA designation or equivalent professional certification.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and/or FP&A experience, preferably with exposure to public practice, management performance and financial reporting, or gas transmission assets.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience providing guidance, oversight, and development to accounting or finance professionals.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and financial systems such as Oracle Cloud, HFM, SmartView, or Essbase, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to assess complex accounting and financial matters and translate information into meaningful business insights.
  • Successfully manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality work within recurring and sometimes tight deadlines.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative business partner with strong interpersonal, written, verbal, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

Working Conditions:

  • This position operates primarily in an office environment and involves recurring deadlines associated with monthly, quarterly, annual, and regulatory reporting cycles.
  • Periodic overtime may be required based on business needs and reporting deadlines.
  • Minimal travel, generally less than 5%, may be required to other corporate office locations.

Benefits:

  • A flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance and disability.
  • A paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event.
