12hr Night Shift Packaging Supervisor

6:00pm - 6:30am

Lonza Tampa is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead daily operations within the packaging department, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production. This role offers the opportunity to influence manufacturing excellence and mentor a growing team.

What you will do

• •Lead, coach, and direct packaging team members to ensure alignment with procedures, processes, and cGMP expectations.
• •Manage day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of the packaging facility to uphold production efficiency.
• •Review production schedules and collaborate with the Master Scheduler to support accurate documentation and timely issue resolution.
• •Conduct and close quality event investigations, ensuring strong compliance and documentation practices.
• •Hire, mentor, and develop employees to build a skilled, engaged packaging team.
• •Deliver hands‑on technical and cGMP training directly on the shop floor.
• •Coordinate indirect material purchases and manage overtime to meet operational needs.

What we are looking for

• •Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (minimum 6 years, preferably with oral solid dosage).
• •Proven leadership capabilities with experience supervising or directing teams.
• •Strong understanding of good manufacturing practices and regulatory requirements.
• •Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and documentation abilities.
• •High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• •Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners such as QA, Project Management, and operations teams.
