We are looking for undergraduate students studying Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field for 2 part-time roles at our site in Mt. Vernon, IN starting in January 2027.

Position Description:

Candidates will be considered for both of the below team's roles, with assignments to be determined during the selection process.

Digital Lighthouse Team

  • Develop and enhance data visualization and analytics solutions using Power BI, SQL, and other digital tools to provide business leaders with actionable insights that improve manufacturing performance, operational efficiency, quality, supply chain performance, and business decision making.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and support functions to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design digital solutions that automate manual work, improve data accessibility, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities by assisting with the development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered solutions, automation workflows, Copilot use cases, and data-driven decision-support tools.
  • Create, maintain, and improve reporting systems, dashboards, data models, and self-service analytics solutions while ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with business objectives and digital governance standards.
  • Conduct data analysis, process mapping, and operational assessments to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, waste reduction, risk mitigation, and enhanced business performance across manufacturing and business operations.
  • Develop technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources that enable users to effectively adopt digital tools, analytics solutions, and AI capabilities while supporting long-term sustainability of deployed solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Lighthouse team on strategic digital transformation initiatives, innovation projects, and proof-of-concept solutions that advance the organization's use of data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.

Supply Chain Team:

  • Partner with Supply Chain teams to analyze inventory, production planning, scheduling, warehouse, logistics, and customer service processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision making through digital solutions and data-driven insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools using technologies such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and other digital platforms to monitor key supply chain metrics including inventory levels, service performance, lead times, forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and operational KPIs.
  • Support the implementation of digital transformation initiatives by developing automation solutions, process improvements, and AI-enabled tools that reduce manual work, improve data quality, and enhance end-to-end supply chain performance.

Position Requirements:

Undergraduate students studying Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field

  • Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2027.
  • Coding skills such as Python and/or SQL.
  • Software exposure to Excel and PowerBI are preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • This role will not provide CPT or OPT letters.
  • Ability to report onsite to Mt. Vernon, IN site for up to 20 hours per week. This role will not provide relocation assistance .
  • Compensation range: $21 per hour
