the posting

Are you passionate about technology, digital transformation, and optimizing sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes? Do you enjoy independently managing the operation and development of applications, collaborating with business partners, creating IT strategies, and implementing solutions that make a real impact?

We are looking for an IT expert in the field of supply chain management to join our team and take responsibility for our S&OP application environment. This is a unique opportunity to manage your own application portfolio, define its future, and implement the approved strategy. Combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business partnerships to achieve excellence in planning and a positive impact on operations across the entire organization.

What you will do

As an application owner and trusted IT partner for the Supply Chain, you will:

  • Be responsible for the S&OP applications in their entirety—you’ll ensure their reliability, performance, configuration, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead incident resolution, change management, updates, and system maintenance within the S&OP application environment, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a key technical stakeholder in this area for projects and change initiatives, ensuring the definition of changes, solution design, technical testing, data migration, and post-implementation support.
  • Manage the change process in this area—assess the impact on the core configuration, plan the release schedule, and ensure the integration of changes without disrupting key S&OP processes.
  • Collaborate closely with S&OP business stakeholders, key users, vendors, and IT teams to translate business needs into effective application solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within the S&OP cycle (demand, supply, and integrated reconciliation planning).
  • Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to S&OP and lead Proof of Concept initiatives to assess their business value.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licenses, SLAs, budgets, and support services for the domain.

What makes this role exciting

  • Direct technical ownership of an S&OP application and its evolution
  • Opportunity to influence S&OP digitalization end-to-end
  • Exposure to innovative planning technologies and process optimization initiatives
  • Collaboration with business leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to drive meaningful change with visible business impact
  • A central seat on major transformation projects, owning the application baseline through change

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience working with technologies and applications within the S&OP.
  • Strong understanding of S&OP/Supply Chain planning processes and the systems that support them.
  • Experience owning or co-owning an application, including managing its baseline through project-driven change.
  • Experience delivering complex projects and managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical and innovative technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management, system implementations, upgrades, and vendor management is highly desirable.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Who you are

You have a hands-on mindset and a strong sense of ownership. You enjoy solving complex planning challenges, safeguarding application stability through change, building strong partnerships, and finding innovative ways to improve processes and systems. You are comfortable operating both at a detailed technical level and in strategic discussions with business stakeholders.

If you are looking for a role where you own a critical S&OP application and shape how it evolves through major change, we'd love to hear from you.
