We have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Financial Analyst to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will strengthen monthly supply chain reporting, deliver clear financial and operational insights, and support data-driven decisions across Supply and Finance. This position will also lead commodity index outlook activities, helping the business evaluate risk, identify opportunities, and improve planning accuracy.
You will:
- Partner with the Global Supply Process Excellence Leader and cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and analytical capabilities.
- Own the monthly supply chain reporting process, ensuring outputs are timely, accurate, and actionable.
- Research, troubleshoot, and validate complex data by reviewing source data, SQL logic, ERP configuration, and business rules.
- Develop commodity index forecasts to support procurement decisions, pricing strategies, and business planning.
- Analyze cost trends and performance drivers to help Supply and Finance teams identify improvement opportunities.
- Build indicators, dashboards, and insights that help leaders monitor performance and act proactively.
- Apply AI and advanced analytics to identify trends, detect anomalies, and model potential business scenarios.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, analytics, statistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of analytical experience, preferably in a global manufacturing environment, with strong financial reporting and data analytics skills.
- Experience with month-end reporting, financial reporting cycles, and commodity index forecasting.
- Proficiency with Power BI and modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric; experience with TM1, Python, SQL, or SAP HANA is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization.
Compensation:
For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $71000 - $131800/ year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
