Summary of the Role

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day supply chain logistics operations, ensuring end-to-end execution across customs clearance, domestic delivery, monthly financial closing, and SAP Purchase Order (PO) management. Primary responsibilities include tracking supply chain logistics costs, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), executing return exports for defective products, and maintaining structured records for return management. Additionally, the Specialist directly supports Indirect Business operations for designated Business Unit (BU) through active Demand Planning and end-to-end PO administration, and billing activities. The ideal candidate demonstrates high self-leadership to drive independent results while collaborating seamlessly within a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational SCM & Logistics Execution

• •Oversees import customs clearance procedures and coordinates with local freight forwarders and logistics service providers (LSPs).
• •Manages domestic order fulfillment and delivery operations to customers, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
• •Handles defective product returns (RMA) and maintains accurate, structured records for quality and compliance tracking.
• •Execute customer billing in SAP, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing while supporting end-to-end order fulfillment.

2. Demand Planning & Indirect Business Support

• •Executes end-to-end operational support for assigned Business Unit (BU), taking ownership of Demand Planning and supply balancing.
• •Creates and manages SAP sales and purchasing transactions including
• •Creates, issues, and tracks SAP Purchase Orders (POs) from order generation through to product receipt and inventory reconciliation.

3. Financial Closing, Cost & KPI Management

• •Executes SCM monthly closing activities in SAP, ensuring accurate accruals and inventory ledger reconciliations.
• •Analyzes SCM logistics costs to identify optimization opportunities and manage budget alignment.
• •Tracks, analyzes, and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics to drive ongoing operational improvements.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• •Internal Alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align SCM operations with business growth strategies and financial reporting requirements.
• •Collaboration with stakeholders: Serve as the key point of logistics contact for SCM stakeholders for 3PL, Distributors, and designated BU.

Functional / Technical Skills

• •Supply Chain & Logistics Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of import customs clearance procedures, domestic distribution logistics, inventory tracking, and return operations.
• •End To End SCM process: Strong understanding of end-to-end SCM processes within indirect business models.
• •SAP/ERP & Systems Architecture: Familiarity with SAP/ERP (SD/MM modules) is an advantage
• •Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong capability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions in ambiguous or uncertain business environments.
• •Advanced MS Office Proficiency: High-level skills in MS Office, with a focus on advanced Excel for data-driven analysis and process automation.
• •Strategic Planning: Robust analytical capabilities in Demand and Supply Planning, balancing high-level forecasting with meticulous execution.
• •Stakeholder Communication: Professional fluency in English and Korean (written and verbal) to facilitate seamless collaboration with stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
• •Financial & KPI Analytics: Analytical skills to evaluate logistics cost drivers, reconcile month-end SCM accounts, and monitor operational performance metrics

Education & Experience

• •Bachelor’s Degree: Required in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Major is not mandatory.
• •Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM), with at least 3 years (Working experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is an advantage).
• •Certifications: Professional SCM certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or Project Management professional (e.g., PMP) credentials are plus. Not mandatory.
