As a Supply Chain Manager in Carrier Performance Excellence team, you’ll be an essential part of innovating and transforming our processes for safety and community impacts. You’ll be taking the lead on the design and launch of new programs for our customers. You’ll also oversee programs that are already running and find ways to improve them.   • Key job responsibilities
  • - Collect and analyze data to drive project decisions and provide business insights
  • - Run meetings with partner teams to track project progression, implement new initiatives, and improve existing programs
  • - Work with a variety of other teams to tackle challenges, define standards, streamline process for driving continuous improvement
  • - Launch projects, monitor safety performance/community impact metrics, and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables
  • A day in the life
  • Every day is different as a Supply Chain Manager. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively on projects, which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle, from development to delivery. You might spend your morning gathering data and feedback to assess a program pilot, and in the afternoon, you focus on communication plans for another project. You will collaborate with other teams, track project progress, and share updates with key stakeholders.
  • About the team
  • Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a rapidly growing, global operation unit, which significantly impacts the customer experience. As part of ATS, we are at the forefront of innovation, rebuilding transportation network and helping our carrier partners operate safely with access to technology platform across Europe.

Basic qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree
  • - Experience in program or project management
  • - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • - Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Preferred qualifications

  • - Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • - Experience leading process improvements
  • - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
