Supply Chain Process Intern

Support the Monterrey Production Planning team through data analysis, report automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The intern will help transform SAP and operational data into actionable reports to improve material availability visibility, production scheduling, and on-time delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Consolidate and validate data from SAP, Excel, and operational reports to support production planning activities.
• •Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for backlog, material shortages, production readiness, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.
• •Support the automation of recurring reports using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and, where applicable
• •Assist in identifying material constraints affecting production order release and schedule execution.
• •Track action items and coordinate status updates with Planning, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping.
• •Identify data discrepancies and opportunities to simplify reporting processes.
• •Document reporting procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• •Learn production planning processes and progressively support routine planning activities under supervision.

Tasks and Qualifications:

• •Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• •Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data management.
• •Familiarity with Power BI or Power Query is preferred.
• •Interest in manufacturing, production planning, and process improvement.
• •Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across functions.
• •Intermediate English, with the ability to read documentation and communicate basic status updates.
