Job Description:

Responsibilities

• •Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• •Perform pre-operative evaluations and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• •First assist in surgery as credentialed and permitted by hospital policies.
• •Round on hospitalized surgical patients and manage post-operative care plans.
• •Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging results.
• •Diagnose and treat acute and chronic surgical conditions within scope of practice.
• •Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, surgical expectations, and recovery.
• •Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record.
• •Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain adherence to evidence-based practice standards.
• •Facilitate timely communication among patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualification

• •National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGACNP, or AGNP).
• •Curren Florida APRN License
• •Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• •DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• •Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• •Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Schedule

• •Full-time position
• •1 weekend of Hospital rounding per month
• •Hybrid role to include inpatient rounding and clinic / outpatient setting

Pay Range:

• $92,227.20 - $171,537.60
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
