Surgical Assistant

At Georgetown Oral & Facial Surgery, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support our oral surgeons during procedures, ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment, and provide patients with exceptional care in a professional and welcoming setting.

Responsibilities

• •Assist the Oral Surgeon during a variety of oral and maxillofacial procedures to ensure efficiency.
• •Prepare treatment rooms according to established protocols and safety standards.
• •Maintain strict infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and preparing equipment.
• •Capture high quality, diagnostic dental x-rays and scans as needed.
• •Provide patients with clear post-operative instructions and oral care guidance.
• •Accurately document patient information and chart notes.
• •Perform administrative office tasks using a computer and dental software.
• •Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• •1+ years of Oral Surgery/Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• •1+ years of customer service experience preferred. We value a friendly, patient first attitude!

• •Proficiency with computer-based tasks.

• •High school diploma or equivalent.
