EU Operations Sustainability drives the decarbonization of Amazon's operational footprint across Europe, focusing on reducing environmental impact from transportation, buildings, and energy consumption. The team develops and executes strategies spanning First Mile, Middle Mile, and Last Mile logistics — including energy efficiency, renewable energy, building material decarbonization and climate resiliency and adaptation, at fulfillment centers, sort centres and delivery stations. You will work day-to-day with cross-functional partners including RME, Finance, Real Estate, Design & Construction (D&C), and IT to deliver measurable energy and carbon reductions. You will also have the opportunity to work with selected start-ups through the Amazon Sustainability Accelerator (ASA) – Climate Tech programme, helping to evaluate, pilot, and scale innovative sustainability technologies across Amazon's European fulfillment network.
