Cisco's Supply Chain Sustainability team is a global, close-knit group of change agents with diverse backgrounds. We partner across the business to drive social and environmental impact, from net zero and the circular economy to human rights in our supply chain. This role will support our Net Zero Supply Chain program, which measures and reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across Cisco's supply chain. It's a chance to shape how Cisco tracks and cuts emissions at global scale, alongside teammates who support each other's growth.
Your Impact
Supply chain emissions are a major part of Cisco's carbon footprint. Accurate data is the foundation for reducing emissions and reporting progress toward our goal of net zero by 2040. You’ll own the supply chain GHG calculation and the processes behind it, working with teams across Cisco to gather inputs, keep timelines on track, and explain what the data means.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the annual supply chain Scope 3 calculation end to end, from data preparation through controls and third-party assurance, ensuring we meet deadlines and results are audit-ready
- Run supplier disclosure campaigns, such as CDP Supply Chain, from building supplier lists to tracking responses
- Turn data into insights, analyzing and communicating emissions trends and hotspots
- Represent supply chain in net zero forecasting, partnering with our Chief Sustainability Office to explain our data, shape dashboard requirements, and inform modeling assumptions
- Drive decarbonization projects, planning and tracking prioritized initiatives with internal teams and suppliers
- Report on progress, preparing emissions data and content for internal reporting and external disclosures
- Streamline how we work, using AI and automation to improve data quality and reduce manual effort
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of climate, data, and supply chain, with room to shape how our methodology evolves as we bring in new product and supplier data.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience with GHG accounting, sustainability reporting, or other data processes that require accuracy and controls (e.g., financial reporting, audit, supply chain analytics)
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects or recurring processes, including planning timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating multiple teams
- Experience analyzing large datasets in Excel or similar tools (e.g., pivot tables, lookups)
- Experience presenting data or analysis to leaders or non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail, with experience producing accurate, audit-ready work and implementing financial-style controls
- Hands-on experience with corporate GHG accounting (Scope 3, GHG Protocol, CDP); familiarity with product carbon footprint methodologies is a plus
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or AI tools to automate data workflows
Experience in a hardware, electronics, or manufacturing supply chain
