We are seeking a Software Agreement Sales Specialist to support the retention and growth of software service revenue across an assigned North American region. In this customer-facing role, you will manage software agreement renewals, support the conversion of existing software support agreements into Software Lifecycle Service Agreements, and identify opportunities to expand agreements with additional software, hardware, upgrades, and professional services.

You will serve as a key connection among customers, Software Field Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Service, Applications, Legal, and technical teams. The successful candidate will combine consultative sales skills, commercial judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate complex customer agreements from initial engagement through booking and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of software service agreements and renewals within an assigned region.
  • Support the retention and growth of recurring software service revenue.
  • Partner with North America Software Field Sales teams to convert existing software support agreements into Software Lifecycle Service Agreements.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer agreements through additional software, hardware, upgrades, professional services, and other available solutions.
  • Develop customer-specific renewal and expansion strategies based on contract status, installed solutions, customer needs, and available offerings.
  • Prepare and coordinate customer quotations in collaboration with Sales, Commercial Operations, Service, Finance, and other internal partners.
  • Lead internal and customer-facing meetings to review service-agreement options, clarify requirements, resolve outstanding issues, and move opportunities toward closure.
  • Present complex software, hardware, service, and professional-services solutions in a clear and commercially relevant manner.
  • Serve as a liaison among Software Field Sales, Service, Applications, Legal, and technical teams.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to address contract-related requirements, including legal redlines, Business Associate Agreements, security questionnaires, master agreements, and associated documentation.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required to support software agreement sales and regional business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience in sales, sales support, account management, commercial operations, customer success, contract renewals, service-agreement management, or another relevant customer-facing function.
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders through sales, contracting, renewal, or implementation process.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the business value of technical products and services.
  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple agreements, customers, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative regional and national team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An associate degree, medical-device certification, or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with recurring-revenue, renewal, customer-retention, cross-selling, or upselling strategies.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management, quoting, contract-management, or revenue-tracking systems.
  • Experience collaborating with account managers and technical specialists to develop and close customer opportunities.

Success in This Role

Success will require a strong customer focus, and the ability to create structure around sales and renewal activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to explain technical and commercial information clearly. You should be able to recognize renewal and expansion opportunities while balancing customer expectations with contractual, operational, financial, and revenue-recognition requirements.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours per week.
  • This position may support customer accounts and internal teams across multiple locations and time zones.
  • The role may require participation in customer meetings, internal planning sessions, agreement reviews, and time-sensitive commercial activities.
