Location: NAS Fallon, NV

Security Clearance Requirement: Top Secret

What You’ll Do:

Support mission-critical Navy training systems at NAS Fallon, NV!

As a System Administrator you will provide on-site support to the White Cell training team at NAS Fallon, NV. This position will be based 100% on-site at NAS Fallon, NV.

  • Provide responsive, day-to-day technical support to White Cell instructors before, during, and after training evolutions.
  • Prepare and reset exercise environments using approved procedures; restore scenario configurations and verify readiness for the next training event.
  • Provision, modify, disable, and reset user accounts and permissions in accordance with approved access requests and security procedures.
  • Verify baseline images, operating system configurations, application versions, and required services; restore approved images when authorized.
  • Troubleshoot live exercise injection failures, application errors, account issues, and system or connectivity problems. Coordinate recovery with instructors to minimize disruption.
  • Administer assigned workstations, servers, and virtual systems; monitor system health, review logs, and identify performance or availability issues.
  • Perform approved patching, software updates, routine maintenance, and environment cleanup within established change control and training schedules.
  • Execute and verify assigned backup and recovery procedures; preserve approved configurations and exercise data in accordance with applicable handling requirements.
  • Document incidents, corrective actions, configuration changes, and recurring problems. Maintain procedures and provide clear shift handoffs covering system status and unresolved issues.
  • Escalate incidents that exceed assigned authority or expertise and coordinate with the appropriate technical team through resolution.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of related system administration experience, required.
  • In depth experience working with routers and firewalls and a working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience maintaining and operating the naval flight simulator, is a plus.
  • Some coursework in electronics is a plus.
  • CompTIA Security + is required . BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related area of study, desired. Please upload copies of any relevant IT certifications you hold.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
