• •Oversee the operating systems (such as Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization platforms (such as VMware, Hyper-V) that support on-premises applications and services.
• •Ensure system stability, security patching, and resource allocation.
• •Monitors system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to prevent service interruptions.
• •Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• •Implement and maintain security configurations, adhering to company’s security policies and industry best practices.
• •Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and integration of systems.
• •Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
• •Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT personnel as needed.
• •Perform additional duties as assigned.

Your profile:

• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• •Relevant technical certification is an asset.
• •3+ years' experience with various operating systems, networking fundamentals and server hardware is crucial.
• •Strong understanding of virtualization technologies.
• •Experience with scripting languages for automation is a plus.
• •Familiarity with monitoring tools.
• •Excellent verbal and written English language.
• •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• •Ability to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and implement effective, lasting solutions.
• •Clearly articulates technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as providing excellent support to our internal users.
• •Effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve target goals and business requirements.
• •Monitor and identify potential issues to ensuring comprehensive security and compliance.
• •Ability to multitask, respond immediately to critical incidents, and resolve issues.
• •Continuously adapt to technological advancements, proactively anticipate challenges, and improve system performance and reliability.
• •Ability to respond effectively to immediate threats and critical incidents.
