Job Summary:
Exos is hiring an Athletic Trainer to provide Holistic Health and Fitness (HHF) support to Airmen assigned to the Contingency Response Wing (CRW). This is a great opportunity to gain valuable resume building experience in a tactical setting while working with Airmen to improve physical readiness and reduce preventable injuries. Athletic Trainers will work as part of a multi-disciplinary performance team and perform the following duties:
- Conduct physical evaluations to assess musculoskeletal function and risk of injury.
- Provide instruction and guidance to help prevent injuries and maximize athlete physical conditioning and performance.
- Participate in periodic meetings to review the clinical care provided to Airmen
- Ensure safe and effective operation of equipment used for clinical care.
- Collaborate throughout the HHF team to enhance the effectiveness of performance solutions.
- Document work performed and performance data in approved electronic record systems.
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Athletic Trainer certified through and accredited organization
- Minimum of five years’ experience in athletic training
- Able to be transported in government provided ground vehicles
- Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation).
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in sport psychology or sub-disciplines of intervention/performance enhancement, health/exercise psychology, cognitive psychology, counseling, and/or social psychology. Degree must be from a school recognized by professional accrediting organization, e.g., Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES), American Board of Sport Psychology, Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP), or American Psychological Association (APA).

** This position is contingent upon contract award.**
Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $74,000 - $77,000/year. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
