Job Description Summary

  • This role focuses primarily on early-career and new graduate recruitment, while also supporting selected mid-career hiring. You will lead the day-to-day delivery of our new graduate recruitment program in Japan, including university engagement, information sessions, recruiting events and candidate communication. You will also manage selected mid-career positions from job launch through offer.
  • This position requires the ability to commute to Shinagawa, Minami-Sunamachi and Hino locations based on business requirements.
  • You will work closely with the Sr TA, who owns the overall recruitment strategy. Your role is to contribute ideas, build practical plans and deliver activities with a high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Early-career and new graduate recruitment

Lead the day-to-day planning and delivery of the annual new graduate recruitment program.

Plan and coordinate university and Kosen engagement, company information sessions, recruiting events and candidate-facing activities.

Create activity schedules, manage milestones and keep internal and external partners informed.

Coordinate candidate attraction, application management, assessment, interview scheduling, communication and offer activities.

Track activity results and candidate feedback, and suggest practical improvements for future programs.

Mid-career recruitment

Manage selected mid-career positions through the end-to-end recruitment process.

Partner with Hiring Managers and HR partners to clarify role requirements, timelines and the selection process.

Create compliant job advertisements, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, maintain ATS records and support offer communication.

Team contribution and compliance

Contribute market insights and ideas to the recruitment strategy led by Sr. TA and TA Leader.

Turn agreed priorities into clear plans, actions and deliverables.

Follow local recruitment processes, documentation standards and compliance requirements.

Support TA projects and initiatives that improve candidate attraction, candidate experience and team operations.

Expected Skills and Working Style

Project coordination: able to organize multiple activities, stakeholders, schedules and deadlines.

Event delivery: comfortable preparing and facilitating information sessions, university programs or recruiting events.

Candidate communication: able to communicate clearly, professionally and promptly throughout the recruitment process.

Stakeholder partnership: able to build productive working relationships with Hiring Managers, HR partners and external partners.

Execution and ownership: able to take an agreed direction and move it forward independently, while escalating when support or a decision is needed.

Continuous improvement: able to use feedback and activity data to identify practical improvements.

Attention to detail: able to maintain accurate ATS records and follow recruitment and compliance processes.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Approximately two or more years of recruitment (as internal TA)
  • Professional Japanese and English communication skills for working with candidates and business stakeholders.

Experience using recruitment systems, job boards or other digital tools.

Ability to manage several activities at the same time with clear prioritization and follow-through.

Preferred

Experience in new graduate recruitment, campus recruiting, recruitment events or volume hiring.

Experience facilitating presentations, information sessions, workshops or candidate-facing programs.

Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment for mid-career positions.

Interest in developing a career as a Talent Acquisition professional in an international environment.
