TE Wire and Cable , located in Saddle Brook NJ, is looking for a Taping Machine Operator to join our growing team! TE Wire & Cable is highly regarded as the industry leader and has earned a well-founded reputation for providing high-quality thermocouple wire & cable products with short lead times and competitive prices

More specifically the Taping Machine Operator:

• •Sets up reels of wire into the payoff stands and empties reel into the takeup
• •Laces wire through the machine-oven-capstan spark tester and onto the takeup reel.
• •Loads tapes onto the taping heads and drains wire when applicable per job requirement.
• •Sets oven controllers if applpicaple to the required temperatures per specification.
• •Starts machine and checks tape lay. Sets spark tester at specification voltage. Runs to required footage.
• •Maintains quality satandards and runs machines at specification speeds.
• •Make all necessary repairs to any faults or damaged material per specifications.

Requirements:

• •Adhere to safety standards
• •Basic math skills of addition and subtraction
• •No attendance issues
• •Reliable transportation to work
• •Ability to pass post-offer company paid physical/drug screen and background check

Available shift:

2nd Shift 3:30PM- 12:00AM

Some Manufacturing / Production experience needed, will train the right candidate!

Qualifications: We require 1-2 years of experience. Operators need to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
