Your Role as Tax Manager

In this role, you will:

• •Serve as the lead advisor for a portfolio of business and individual clients.
• •Review complex tax returns, tax projections, and planning strategies.
• •Oversee client engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and exceptional service.
• •Mentor and develop Supervisors, Staff Accountants, and Interns.
• •Meet with clients throughout the year to provide tax planning and consulting services.
• •Analyze and respond to IRS and other tax authority notices.
• •Assist with business development, networking, and cultivating referral relationships.
• •Support firm initiatives, recruiting efforts, and team development.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• •CPA designation required
• •5+ years of public accounting experience with significant tax experience.
• •Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and planning.
• •Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements.
• •Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• •Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience managing and developing accounting professionals.
• •Business development and networking experience.
• •Experience serving as the primary advisor for a client portfolio.
• •Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional client service.
