Tax Manager - Overview

As Tax Manager, you will play a key role in servicing clients as part of a collaborative team: no client “ownership” here!

Reporting to, and working closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers, you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• •CPA designation
• •10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• •Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns

• •Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• •Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
• •Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service
• •High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologies
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications

Preferred Qualifications

• •Advanced degree (Master’s in Accounting or Tax)
• •Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement
