Tax Supervisor

Job Duties may include:

Deliver accurate and timely client tax information.

Prepare complex returns with little supervision.

Assist with supervising and training staff

Meeting all client service and compliance deadlines. Providing tax expertise to address client needs.

Maintains current and increases knowledge of subject matter: Federal and state tax laws, regulatory and compliance requirements, and tax planning techniques. Takes personal responsibility for career development.

Work with other department staff to provide seamless client service.

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

At least 5 years of recent public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax

Able to work in a multi-task environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results

Strong working knowledge of fiduciary tax return preparation and processing in a high volume environment

Exercises sound judgment in decision-making, taking into consideration managing risk and compliance with internal policies and procedures

Demonstrated oral, written and presentation communication skills

BA/BS with a major in accounting & CPA required
