Within our Chief Investment Officer (CIO) office, our portfolio management teams are responsible for managing and monitoring investment portfolios, developing and implementing investment strategies, working closely with clients and stakeholders to achieve investment objectives, providing expert advice on investment matters, and ensuring compliance with regulations and firm policies.

Within our Geneva-based team, we are looking for a senior portfolio manager fostering a true passion for investments and leadership.

Responsible for leading a team of employees. Act as a role model by delivering value for clients, developing teams and talent, and working collaboratively across the Bank.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• •Manage a team of 5 Portfolio Managers, fully assume the supervisory responsibilities and manage risk as first line of defence
• •Develop and implement investment strategies that align with client goals and risk tolerance
• •To ensure continuity in the daily management of the portfolios, ensure proper back up to ensure a business continuity during PM’s absence
• •Develop and maintain a close cooperation with Relationship Managers to optimally match existing recommendations and products to clients’ and prospects’ needs
• •To support RMs to answer clients’ inquiries relating to mandates / prospects, on-boarding new mandate
• •Closely monitor the performance of the Mandates and, resolve issues related to performance of managed portfolios to mitigate risks arising from deviations of the Bank Investment Committee SAA/TAA
• •Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Bank’s investment strategy at the service of the client
• •Ensure delivery of required standard reporting and comply with investment guidelines and restrictions

YOUR PROFILE

• •Leadership experience, with a focus on supporting continuous development of team members, improve their skills and performance, generate learning opportunities and provides regular feedback to the team members
• •Used to set clear goals and priorities and support team members actively in achieving them. Direct work and distribute workload when needed
• •Relevant track-record covering all major financial asset classes: bonds, equities, currencies, alternative investments, commodities, and external funds
• •Strong knowledge of investment products, markets, and regulations, including experience in portfolio management and asset allocation
• •Strong client focus, able to foster strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring that their investment needs are met
• •Create and foster a positive, inspiring, diverse and inclusive work environment with equal opportunities
• •Work collaboratively across teams, units and the bank. Proactively engages, partners, and effectively communicates with governing bodies
