The Team Lead will perform all the functions of a DSP and assists the Residential Manager in ensuring quality of services provided, health and safety of the individuals served, and DSP training, support, and supervision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• •Assist with DSP training, support, and supervision.
• •Support of program and house specific orientation functions
• •Support of staff training
• •Mentorship of new staff during shadowing period
• •Ongoing coaching and role modeling for staff
• •Support of staff meetings
• •Help develop and manage staffing schedule in accordance with Plan of Care.
• •Assist with management of program and individual documentation as required
• •Completion, collection, review, submission, and/or tracking of documentation
• •Assist with individual medication and healthcare coordination functions
• •Assist in finances
• •Responsible for ensuring that the individual’s home is safe, clean and in good repair.
• •Monitor proper diet, meal planning and shopping
• •Ensure that monthly safety drills are conducted
• •Assisting in crisis situations
• •Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.

Qualifications:

• •High School Diploma or equivalent
• •Valid Driver's License
• •Access to a vehicle in good operating order + proof of auto insurance
• •Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
