Alex Fraser is Australia’s largest manufacturer of recycled construction materials and an innovative asphalt production and paving company. We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources and dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join the team at our Archerfield Recycling Facility as a Leading Hand .

This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• •Supervising the day-to-day production operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business.
• •Managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals.
• •Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment.

What you need to be successful:

• •Experience in supervising operations with a focus on production improvement and maintenance.
• •Proven experience in a mobile and fixed plant environment, with a background in mining, mineral sands, crushing hard rock or any floatation process highly regarded.
• •Front End Loader experience.
• •Proven experience in maintenance, including monitoring and operating fixed plant equipment such as jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, tele stackers and pugmills.
• •Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• •A positive presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
