Your Role:

In this pivotal role on our Manufacturing team, you will work collaboratively with Supervisors and Materials Planning to determine staff requirements, prioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved, and that production plans are successfully implemented! As a motivated and upbeat leader, you have proven leadership abilities and hands-on capability! As the Group Leader, you will take the lead and give direction to a group of operators as well as coordinate and prioritize work schedules and assign tasks. You will be the first level of escalation to resolve production issues and ensure tasks are met.

What You'll Be Doing

You will commit to a Zero-Harm workplace and ensure Safety policies are followed along with timely reporting of all safety incidents. Cultivate a collaborative environment while interacting and motivating a team of operators to achieve People/Quality/Delivery/Cost objectives. Ensure training and cross training on accurate procedures and operations of tools to develop operators and maintain flexibility. Use computer to update production targets, scrap transactions, order material. Knowledge of Excel/Word/SAP. Ensure all quality and regulatory policies are carried out to include; Review/Sign Device History Records, Training records and other quality documents. Assist your supervisor and Group Leaders with employee appraisals.

You must have good mechanical dexterity/eyesight, ability to read, write and use basic math; maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks. The successful candidate is able to adapt to a changing work environment, including increased automation, change in production methods or sequences and rotation among workstations. You work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $49,600 - $68,200 annually. The estimated salary is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
