What You’ll Do

● Lead solution architecture for enterprise master data initiatives across Material Master, Vendor Master, and Customer Master domains.

● Define target-state architecture, integration patterns, governance controls, and roadmap recommendations for SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, BTP, AI-enabled capabilities, and cloud technologies.

● Build and assess business cases, including value drivers, risks, dependencies, and transformation tradeoffs.

● Partner with stakeholders to redesign business processes and align data strategy to enterprise priorities.

● Drive architecture for large transformation programs, including cross-functional planning, sequencing, and adoption.

● Create architecture artifacts such as conceptual and logical data models, standards, reference patterns, and decision documents.

● Evaluate technologies, implementation approaches, and vendor solutions to improve scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

● Influence teams through clear communication, collaboration, and structured problem-solving.

Basic Requirements

● 4+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, master data, solution architecture, or related enterprise technology roles.

● Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

● Experience working with Material Master Data, Vendor Master Data, and Customer Master Data.

● Experience in solution architecture for enterprise platforms, integrations, and data governance.

● Demonstrated analytical skills with experience developing or evaluating business cases.

● Experience leading or supporting large transformation programs.

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data/Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to technical and business audiences.

Preferred Skills / Experience

● Consulting experience in business process transformation, operating model design, or strategy.

● Experience with SAP BTP, cloud-native architecture, AI-enabled solutions, and integration patterns.

● Experience in regulated environments with security, compliance, governance, lineage, and metadata practices.

● Familiarity with enterprise data modeling, ETL/ELT, orchestration, and cloud platforms.

● Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional decision-making.

● Knowledge of cost, performance, and scalability considerations for modern data platforms.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
