Your responsibilities:
As a Technical Lead Engineer – ML, you will develop the next generation of AI-powered radar perception systems for autonomous vehicles. Working with cutting-edge machine learning, deep learning, and radar technologies, you will help transform research into real products and bring self-driving technology onto public roads.
In your daily work, you will:
- Develop state-of-the-art machine learning solutions for radar perception
- Design and implement algorithms on Aptiv's latest radar platforms
- Solve challenging real-world perception problems for autonomous driving
- Turn innovative research into production-ready software
- Collaborate with experts in AI, radar hardware, and software engineering
- Analyze large-scale sensor data and improve system performance
- Drive innovation using the latest advances in AI and radar technology
Your background:
We're looking for engineers who combine technical excellence with a passion for innovation.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Radar Processing, Computer Vision, Robotics, or Embedded Systems
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving skills
- Experience with perception, sensor processing, or autonomous systems
- Knowledge of radar signal processing is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
