Technical Lead, Software Developer

Description

This role will be onsite at our Easton Oval office in Columbus, OH.

• Summary:
• The Technical Lead, Software Developer will be a highly skilled professional who will provide technical leadership in solving highly complex data, hardware, software or process initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Provides strategic technical and consultative leadership and ownership on the most complex technical matters.
• •Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon identified user specifications.
• •Provides technical leadership in solving highly complex data, hardware, software or process problems.
• •May address problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
• •Expected to proactively identify areas of opportunity and/or risk and to drive their ultimate resolution.
• •Possesses across the board knowledge of the Huntington technical environment and how the various systems are interconnected.
• •Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
• •Expected to coach and mentor others on direct team, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• •Serves as project leader for specific projects, which are highly complex and strategic in nature.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• •Bachelor's degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience in Software Development.
• •7+ years of hand-on software development OOP experience.
• •1+ years of technical lead experience, coaching/mentoring others.

Preferred Qualifications

• •5+ years of experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
• •2+ years of experience working with Springboot, or microservice architecture.
• •Experience working in multi-cloud environments, AWS & GCP.
• •Technical knowledge of ETL/ELT lifecycle.
• •Strong communication skills & ability to connect teams towards common goals.
