ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive complex, cross-functional cybersecurity programs across our enterprise technology landscape — security initiatives, risk remediation, compliance efforts, and technology projects that span many teams. You’ll turn ambiguous goals into clear plans, chase down the right people across the organization to get things done, and own the outcomes end to end.
This is a delivery role with a technical spine. You won’t just track tasks — you’ll understand the systems, ask the right technical questions, surface risks early, and make the calls that keep programs on schedule. Success means predictable delivery, aligned stakeholders, and teams that can do their best work without churn.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Take large, cross-team initiatives from intake through planning, execution, launch, and retrospective. Define scope, milestones, success metrics, and reporting
Establish clear charters that define objectives, scope, stakeholders, success criteria, and decision rights — so every program starts with shared understanding and buy-in
Lead security initiatives such as vulnerability and risk remediation, compliance and audit readiness, incident follow-ups, and control rollouts — coordinating security, engineering, and business teams to closure
Relentlessly follow up across engineering, security, product, IT, and business owners to unblock work, confirm commitments, and keep remediation and delivery moving to the finish line
Create realistic roadmaps and delivery plans across dependencies. Sequence work, set timelines, and keep them current as reality changes
Map cross-team and cross-system dependencies, identify risks and blockers early, and drive them to resolution before they slip the schedule
Provide crisp, honest status to leadership and stakeholders — what’s on track, what’s at risk, what needs a decision — tailored to the audience, and use strong communication to build alignment and drive action
Facilitate planning, standups, reviews, and launch readiness. Keep meetings purposeful and decisions documented
Spot process gaps and introduce lightweight practices that raise predictability and reduce toil, without adding bureaucracy
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
5+ years in technical program or project management, delivering software or security programs across multiple teams
Strong technical fluency — able to understand architecture, integrations, APIs, and security concepts well enough to ask sharp questions and challenge estimates
Proven track record shipping complex, cross-functional programs on time
Exceptional communication skills — able to write clearly, present to senior leadership, and influence without authority
Skilled at building effective project charters and driving alignment on scope, owners, and success criteria
Persistent, proactive follow-through — comfortable chasing down owners across many teams to close out commitments
Skilled with Agile/Scrum and modern delivery practices, and comfortable adapting them to fit the work
Experience with program tracking and planning tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar)
Clear, calm decision-making under pressure and competing priorities
Preferred:
Background in a CIO/IT, security, or enterprise-platform organization
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts — vulnerability management, risk and compliance frameworks, or security controls
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, Security+, CISM) a plus
Exposure to AI/ML or agentic AI programs
A prior hands-on engineering or technical background
Experience managing vendor relationships and external delivery partners
How we work:
We value clarity over ceremony — the right plan, the right owners, and honest status
We surface risk early and solve problems as a team, not through blame
We invest in our people: mentorship, growth, and space to do the best work of your career
