The role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Technical Sales Engineer to support the development of technical solutions, prepare competitive proposals, and help secure new business opportunities. Working closely with clients, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams, you will play a key role in transforming customer requirements into practical, cost-effective solutions.

This role provides excellent opportunities to broaden your technical and commercial expertise through early-stage concept development, client engagement, project planning, and collaboration across a wide range of engineering disciplines.

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop technical solutions and equipment concepts to meet client requirements.
  • Produce equipment layouts, sizing calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals and support tender submissions.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the bid process.
  • Contribute technical expertise during customer meetings and bid reviews.
  • Develop cost models, project schedules, and procurement estimates.

Job requirements:

  • Significant experience in a technical engineering role, ideally with a Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience with offshore equipment would be advantageous.
