Description
Cogent Security is seeking a Technical Security Specialist to support the Technical Countermeasures Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) mission with a Federal Law Enforcement agency within Washington, D.C. A candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Missions, including construction security.
- Perform research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and/or development of Technical Security equipment and systems.
- Investigate and develop advanced techniques and devices to mitigate threats.
- Resolve or recommend solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by utilizing knowledge, skills, and abilities, including the ability to interpret various directives, rules, and regulations.
- Communicate orally with customers and groups on technical security-related issues.
- Write reports to document mission events, research findings, procedures, and other technical security-related issues.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of relevant TSCM experience.
- Government certification in TSCM required.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Must be willing to conduct shift work and travel as needed (0-45%).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Federal Law Enforcement TSCM support.
