Technical Writer / Script Writer

Job Description

• •Ensure that MyClassBoard customers get a clear understanding of the product and its functionality.
• •Create clear, engaging, and informative scripts for videos, product explainers, tutorials, promotional content, and educational content.
• •Author and maintain MyClassBoard Knowledge Base content, ensuring that articles and tutorials are easy to find, easy to use, and always up-to-date with the product.
• •Ensure that product terminologies, UI messages, instructions, and communication are grammatically flawless, user-friendly, effective, and consistent.
• •Design and develop documentation and communication content for product updates and feature releases.
• •Work closely with the product, marketing, and design teams to understand product features and convert complex information into simple, engaging scripts and content.
• •Participate in usability studies with the product design team to ensure that product terminology and instructions make the product easy to understand and use.
• •Develop educational and instructional content that helps customers understand how to effectively use MyClassBoard.
• •Assist the marketing team in creating content for campaigns, product launches, customer communication, and brand initiatives.
• •Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, terminology, and brand communication across all content.
• •Continuously research and improve content based on customer needs, feedback, and product updates.

Qualifications

• •3+ years of experience in script writing, technical writing, content writing, or instructional content creation.
• •Flawless written communication skills.
• •Ability to explain complex concepts through simple, clear, and engaging instructions.
• •Strong storytelling, narration, and presentation skills.
• •Experience in creating content in the form of articles, scripts, tutorials, and instructional videos.
• •Hands-on experience with content creation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Articulate, blogging platforms, etc.
• •Excellent understanding of storyboarding, narration, script structure, and content presentation.
• •Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• •Ability to work collaboratively with product, marketing, design, and other teams.
