Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission ABT (Availability Based Tariff) meters at substations, power plants, and utility sites.
  • Configure and program meters with appropriate parameters (e.g., CT/PT ratios, etc).
  • Conduct site surveys and coordinate with Project /EPC team for installation readiness.
  • Ensure proper integration of meters with SLDC/RLDC or utility data systems using communication protocols (e.g., DLMS, Modbus).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, wiring, and communication issues during and post-installation.
  • Perform testing, sealing, and meter verification in accordance with CEA and CERC guidelines.
  • Generate technical documentation including installation reports, test reports, and commissioning certificates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical standards during all fieldwork.
  • Liasononig with Govt authorities for Meter I&C schedule.
