Job Description

EBAD seeks a skilled technician for the position of Energetics Technician, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The position is located in Simsbury, CT.

Responsibilities:

The Energetics Technician will perform a variety of tasks to build and package energetic devices in support of the Energetics Assembly Value Stream.

Responsibilities include:

• •Adherence to all safety standards and work instructions.
• •Perform assembly and inspection operations in accordance with detailed manufacturing instructions, product drawings and quality plans.
• •Perform coreload analysis on energetic materials.
• •Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and documentation.
• •Assist engineers in manufacturing process development activities under direction of the engineer’s written instructions.
• •Support inventory maintenance of component parts and materials.
• •Setup and maintain work cells in accordance with 6S principles.
• •Provide feedback to engineers and supervisor for improvements.

Requirements:

• •Positive attitude, flexible and energetic, ability to work independently.
• •Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
• •Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
• •Must have a high school diploma.
• •Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred skills :

• •Experience with assembly operations including, but not limited to: torquing, bonding, cutting, filing, bending and laser welding.
• •Experience with lab equipment including, but not limited to: precision weight scales, graduated cylinders, and calipers/micrometers.
• •Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel.
