Job Description & Summary

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Manager to join our TAD+ (Technology, AI, Data and Third Parties) Risk Assessment team.

The team acts as a trusted adviser to PwC’s client-facing businesses and internal functions, enabling the responsible use of technology, AI, data and third parties. We help the firm identify, assess and manage risks associated with technology innovation, business operations and service delivery.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will form part of a team of risk professionals responsible for assessing technology, AI, data and third-party risks across the firm. You will balance business enablement with effective risk management, providing clear advice on complex matters and supporting the continued operational management of our risk assessment portfolio.

What your days will look like:

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of technology, AI, data and third-party risk assessments across an allocated portfolio, ensuring work is completed consistently, to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Coordinate workloads and priorities across a portfolio, providing coaching, feedback and day-to-day support to help colleagues deliver effectively and develop their capability.
  • Undertake and quality-review a variety of risk assessments, applying the firm’s risk framework consistently and escalating significant, novel or contentious matters to the Senior Manager where appropriate.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across Risk Management, OGC and the business, providing clear and practical risk advice and managing expectations throughout the assessment process.
  • Contribute to process and service improvements by identifying recurring issues, proposing practical solutions and supporting updates to frameworks, tools and guidance.

This role is for you if:

  • You have relevant experience in risk management, technology risk, data risk, AI risk, third-party risk or a related discipline, with practical experience of delivering in these areas.
  • You have a background and understanding of Technology, AI and/or Data
  • You have Project Management experience coordinating work and supporting or coaching colleagues, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus on quality, timeliness and outcomes.
  • You have strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders and knowing when to seek senior input or escalate.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex risk matters clearly, concisely and pragmatically.
  • You have an ability to balance commercial objectives, risk management requirements and operational delivery, demonstrating sound judgement, resilience and a practical approach.
