Telecommunications Provisioning Analyst II

Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for delivering quality service with ordering, and provisioning of data and voice services across the SECU enterprise environment to all users. Works independently with general supervision to troubleshoot any new Voice, Data, and Wireless issues that may arise during the provisioning phase.

Essential Responsibilities:

• •(40%) Works closely with Facilities ensuring all data/voice orders and data cabling is ordered and installed to support the opening of all new branches. Utilizes vendor portals to track orders through completion. Collaborates with other groups to coordinate the test and turn up of the new data circuits.
• •(20%) Maintains an accurate database of all Term ID’s used by all branches and operation center employees. Generates and submits the monthly GEN Memo for all new branches, remote atm’s as well as all atm de-installs. Coordinates with a variety of internal departments ensuring the GEN Memo is processed in a timely manner.
• •(10%) Update technical and procedural documentation.
• •(10%) Coordinate and support any port orders.
• •(10%) Coordinates the support of ATM renames, de-installs and moves.
• •(10%) Engage in available learning resources to enhance skillset.

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

• •High School Diploma or GED.
• •2+ years’ experience in Telecommunications with SIP Trunk/VoIP field.
• •Project management skills to assist in open projects with management and the ability to manage large projects and provide clear communication to management and users.
• •Strong knowledge of LEC/CLEC & IXC connectivity and infrastructure.
• •Excellent with Microsoft Office applications.
• •Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• •Written and verbal communication skills.
• •Teamwork and leadership.
• •Customer service.

Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

• •Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• •2-5 years’ experience in Telecommunications industry with SIP Trunk/VoIP field experience.
• •Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
• •Project management.
• •Certifications desired: ITIL

Job Environment & Physical Requirements:

• •This position is Hybrid with 1 day in office required per month or as requested by management.
• •Provide access for Telco related dispatches to all Operation Centers.
